Old Exercise Copyrights

What are the copyright rules like with groups playing old exercises? I'm talking old standard stuff like Basic Strokes, Stick Control, etc. I see a lot of videos of other groups playing them in the lot and it made me curious.
Palm Beach Gardens High School
2014- "NOLA" Xylophone
2015- "Latin Jazz" Xylophone
2016- "Circus du Soleil: Quidam" Center Marimba
2017- "The Journey Within" Center Snare

John I. Leonard High School (Indoor Partners)
2018- "Diamonds in the Rough" Snare

Colin McNutt implied that he got permission from Murray Gusseck for Basic Strokes in the video below. I'd assume it's similar for other warm ups.

Murray and Colin also marched together so it's a little different.

Are you wanting to make new arrangements of these exercises or just be able to play them? If you're wanting to play them with your group, you can buy them from Tapspace. Just make sure you buy the ensemble pack.

They do not now or in the future represent any group, person (both living and dead) that I have been, am currently, or will be in the future associated with.
