Hey guys I'm pretty new here, but you guys seem like a trustworthy group so I thought I'd ask for some advice. I play marimba in our indoor group and I really want to ask this girl, a tenor player, to prom, but I'm having trouble coming up with ideas. Our center snare is best friends with her and is on board, but we can't think of any creative ways of doing it.
Can you guys think of any fun drumming related ways to ask someone to prom?

We've had one of our front ensemble players ask a snare by playing the cadence, and writting in on paper and taping it to the inside of the cymbals, so when we got to a certain point all of the cymbals opened them.

Say " Hey, we should go to prom together, it'll be fun" and give her flowers.
All the ''promposal" stuff is bs, imo.

I'm that guy who says he'll try out for drum corps next year and never does.
But I'm totally gonna try to march Alliance this summer.

print out prom with each letter getting one page and then a page with a question mark. spell prom across her tenor drums and put the question mark on the spock. Get another tenor player to help you set up her tenors on a stand for her before practice then go find her and tell her that you set up her drum for her. When she walks over and sees her drum, ask her to prom.
