Delecluse "Douze Etudes - 6"

Posted: Mon Nov 25, 2013 8:44 pm

Let me start out by saying that the quality isn't the best. For anyone who knows this solo or anyone that notices anything funky going on with my hands, I'd like as much critique as possible. The dynamics are there but the video camera had a hard time picking it up.

When you're playing something like Del├ęcluse that has a billion little ornaments on every other note, it's good to go for a more articulate sound. I don't know if it was just the drum you were using but personally I'd use some dampening (moongel, wallet, handkerchief) so you can hear the notes. Your buzz rolls sound nice and smooth.
