I have 4 snare pads and a quad pad. There is nothing wrong with having this many pads lol, I just rotate them while I'm playing, they all have different feels that I use. I'm definitely gonna by more haha.

i have an invader , slimpad , realfeel. i love the invader. I am addicted to buying pads. i just ordered a remo putty pad lol... i need something silent for late nite practice. I never tried the putty pad but i think if i use it on top of the real feel it might be silent enough. I know the real feel is quiet but it still has too much volume at night..... any one use that putty pad??

V3, Slimpad, and VF Tenor pad. Looking into getting the shuttle pad sooner or later. I really like the Offworld pads just because of the feel of them. Yeah everyone says that, but after playing on all three of the pads that offer a "realistic" snare feeling, the Offworld is great.

Technically, I don't own sticks and a pad. I just have a roommate who decided he's never going to make a drum line ever again, so I use his sticks and pad. Parasitic, perhaps, but I don't care.

I have:
Classic Remo Practice Pad
Vater black/red double sided pad
6" Real Feel
6" Vater Red
Vic Firth Slimpad
Invader V3

My stack from bottom to top: Remo, Vater double sided (black on top), Slimpad, Invader V3
I keep the 6" pads on my desk so whenever I have an idea I can pad it out before writing it down
The Slimpad is my "always carry with me" pad because of its weight and size.
My Invader's surface is not as articulate and "great" feeling since I first got it but I use it as my daily practice implement.

I think I own about eight, and thats after Ive given a few that I never use to students.... Ive always envied those guys that only have one pad, and its totally *beep* up. But Ive never managed to use a single pad enough to get it to that point. However, Im considering selling/ donating everything except my V3. Dont really need anything else.

Some people on here just have way too much money...

For the record-

Remo tunable practice pad (the one that comes in the starter bell kits)
6" HQ RealFeel (grey soft side, black neoprene backside. $10 new, 7 years ago)
6" Graphix single sided pad ($15, 6 years ago)
Vic Firth Tenor Pad (Small, got it when I started teaching)
Vic Firth Slimpad (just ordered it yesterday)

I like it because there are 2 different sounds, loud and quiet. It also feels closer to a drum head in my opinion. Also because I have an Id pad... so all custom and what not. :P

I have an old vic firth two sided pad, vic slim pad, and the v3. I pretty much just put the old vic one under my v3 and practice that way.

You can probably find one at your local drum shop, I got my first one for about 20 bucks. It might not be a v3 but it definitely gets the job done.
