Help reading dotted eight notes

Posted: Sat Jun 25, 2016 11:49 am

Ok so there's a part in our snare music where There's four dotted eight notes in 3/4 time. Ik it's basic but I have no clue how it would be counted and which one falls on which count. I'd really appreciate a detailed answer and always thanks for helping! :D

1 a & e

8th note it 2 16th notes. The dot add have the note value on so that'd be an additional 16 note.
