Advice for Auditions?

Posted: Thu Dec 03, 2015 1:41 pm

Hey guys! I'm going to be auditioning for Boston Crusader's snare-line this very weekend! As excited as I am, I have chosen a second drum corps to send a video audition - as kind of like a backup, in case I get cut at Boston. I was originally going to do Mandarins for the backup, but now I have been leaning more towards Spirit of Atlanta. I can't exactly decide which one would be a better option, it almost seems like Spirit would be just as hard to make as Boston. Any friendly advice would be appreciated! :D

March somewhere. Anywhere. Marching somewhere is better than marching nowhere for a summer. There's a lot of factors to take into consideration when choosing a drum corp. It's honestly more of a personal choice. Go somewhere where you like how they drum. Also take into consideration travel expenses for camps.

I'm pretty late on this one but if anyone else has this same issue here's an article I read a while ago that might help boost your confidence.
