If I make Crown before I age out, I really want to get their logo, probably on my wrist. Not sure about any others.

Tattoos are ugly and stupid.
Wasting your money and your body should be illegal.

in your opinion
I play and teach music (sometimes even band music!)

I work in music tech and licensing.

Music is an art and positive energy.

If I can get a hi-res copy of Sputnik Monroe's robot logo from back in the day, I wanna get that on the nape of my neck.

If not, I might get <--- my avatar on the same spot, except rotated as so: [:]->-<

When I march Cavies, I'm going to get Standing Man somewhere.

i've been thinking about a couple things, such aaaaaaas
'i am the master of my fate, i am the captain of my soul.' with an old wooden ship wheel below it on my chest.

'forgive me, gramps' somewhere.

'when the wind blows against the grain, you must follow your heart'

i really like mel's idea of "fear is the heart of love."
i have marched in HS and Div. 2 DCI.

city & colour is pretty much some of the most honest, heart-wrenching music I've ever heard. I'm not a big fan of tattoos, but anyone who decides to put C&C lyrics on their body is doing no wrong. some more lyrics that might be good:

"The lovely laugh from the love of my life will keep the notes coming" -mordecai by between the buried and me
"Living parodies of love and lost, is this all we've become?" -Chinchilla by this town needs guns
"I'm still a cigarette softly smoking on the edge of a metal ashtray, I begged this place to let me burn and it whispered 'burn away"-Nautical by Protest the Hero
"I, the swan, am beautiful, and desist in a space between being and idea"-I, the swan by The sound of animals fighting

and obviously anything by City & Colour or Sigur Ros.

I have definitely decided that i am getting this, no changes, nothing, not sure where but i am definitely getting it;

"There's no way to grow that don't hurt." -Sam Beam, "Sacred Vision"

this is so true to me and i have learned it the hard way, this phrase has basically become a representation of my state of my mind growing up the past 16 years, romantically, physically, emotionally, it just seems perfect.

Tattoos are good if used for meaningful reasons IMO. Or if you represent it! They can be great pieces of artwork or really crappy!

I have 5 of them and I absolutely love them!
'09 - Bass 5
'10 - Snare
'11 - Snare

My opinions do not reflect the organizations I am affiliated with.

Reviving this cause making a new thread is less fun.

I got my first tattoo today. I don't feel like attaching the picture cause it's huge, but it's the Cascades logo on my left shoulder. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Anyone else get tattoos recently?

Forgot about this thread too, and I don't think I ever shared my ink. This was taken pretty much right after I had it done. Now it needs to be touched up a bit because of band.
