No, generally they are not. If you're looking for marching sticks sites like Steve Weiss or Lonestar Percussion always have them listed specifically under "marching percussion". Or you can always check out the makers sites, like IP, Vic, Promark, etc.

One addition: If you are on or getting ready to join a drumline, ask what equipment they use. You may have sticks that are designed for marching, but its best to use the same equipment that the rest of the drumline is using (in order to get the most consistent sound).
Without a metronome its not drumming, its just hacking.

Finding 2b sticks that fit your playing style is an often overlooked process, as most players understandably put their focus on finding a drum set and cymbal configuration that allow the full expression of their musical personality.
