Airsoft

Anyone here play airsoft? I play when I can with my friends (fellow diddlers) in the woods near our house (we have this awesome trail we play along) and we just make different scenarios and game types etc, it's a lot of fun. We're not really crazy into it we just all bought decent guns and we play for fun when we don't have band. I play with an L96 model Leopers sniper. Anyone else play? What kind gun do you have, who do you play with, etc. Just general airsoft discussion.

Man I wish I still played. It seemed like it was more of a junior-high sort of thing but then slowly people stopped playing it (but it's still the same about of fun?).

Absolutely, I didn't start playing it until the summer before my freshman year and I still enjoy it now in the junior year and I'll probably continue to play it as long as I have friends to play with. It's mostly fun when you buy a decent gun (not from wal-mart or a sporting goods store) and then play with some friends in the woods and stuff. Going to a field can be cool too but when it comes to airsoft at fields usually there are a lot of assholes with really expensive equipment who won't call their hits and then light you up blank range. If you're just playing in your backyard with friends it is funner because you can make your own game types and you know if your friends will play honestly or not.

I just happened to check here after being away for a while. I play airsoft all the time, I'm on a team, do some national level events now, etc.
I run a VFC 416 or two different G&G G4 series Mk18s. TM P226 for a sidearm. My Blasters. I wear Crye combat pants and I'm working on getting a shirt. My team is out of Connecticut so feel free to check us out: https://www.youtube.com/user/DirewolfAirsoft
We do the facebook thing too.

Pics are kinda big:

I'm 21 now and my team is mostly in their 30s. Airsoft picks up again with older guys and they get more serious (MILSIM) about it. It's fun stuff.

That is pretty rad man, I pretty much only play recreation ally but me and my friends have nice guns as well, we're actually working on setting up a big game with a scenario and stuff for our Spring Break I'm pretty excited.
