i find them to be pretty different. i like both though. i think the vf ms5s suckWHSnare wrote:SSJ's are essentially the same thing as DC50's right? Are people that arrogant to leave their comfort zone?

I had a couple MS5's and loved em. Those broke bought more and they were terrible. Soo bad, they cracked on my second rimshot. The MS5's are literally exactly the same, the only difference is that they dont say Scott Johnson.

I heard m dawgs are pretty sick though. My snare tech hated them at first but then said after he got used to them they were pretty good.

Never heard of that before hahaa...but the M-Dawgs really feel good. They're nice beefy sticks but they're really not that heavy. And i've never had a gotten a bad pair. Ever.
