Actually I was talking about the IP-1s. They are a concert stick and they are tasty.

I don't march snare (but play a little bit on my own), and I tried a friend of mine's FS-PR's at a camp. AMAZING. They're big, beefy, but still balanced.

For marching, I like Casellas, and for Indoor, I like AS-MM. I have never used the SSJ's though...

Yeah, I see what you mean. I do like some Vic's though. I like the feel of Hardimons, and I also like the Thom Hannum sticks. But, the Casella's are by far my favorite sticks.

My line currently uses Thom Hannum (indoor). At first I thought they were ok, but now I'm starting to dislike them more and more. They are a bit too light for my liking. I really like Hardimons, haven't found a stick yet that beats them.

I like the Hannums, just the regular Corpsmaster ones, they have a good feel, and are light.

I got a pair of Gusseck's at the SCV booth last year and I have to say that they are definitely my favorite sticks that I own.

I'm not really a big fan of any of those sticks, I used to be really into the Ralph Hardimons, but i found that they aren't that great. I have not used the BD sticks, but i don't need to. Any way, i think there needs to be an option for the Tom Aungst corpsmaster stick. It is great and very balanced. If that's already an option than my bad. haha

Juat going to start off with how much I hate hannums....light, back heavy, and have terrible sound. They die in a week of use. Ive had to quadruple tape them to make them feel decent. they feel uncomfortable and have the finish, which is why I've lately preferred IP.

Always liked ssjs, first stick, good balance and its nice and stocky.

Kuhns were interesting, I liked them for how big they felt, good balance and helps with chops. Mine got bowed though so I don't use them.

Havent used casellas much, but they feel like a mix of the ssjs and kuhns, they left a good impression.

Id have to say that macs are my favorite, just have the best feel and they havent died for me very quickly. its dependable and I dont see how anyone would dislike it.

Yeah, Macs are one of my favorite sticks. I like the feel and, they last a while, at least a while in my book.. which is about 3 weeks, lol. I went through 4 pairs of Macs this marching band season, haha

Our new drumline tech is going to bring us new sticks soon. Innovative's. I'm pretty excited to see what they are like. I have no real experience with them (only played once with Bret Kuhn's I think... they were waaaay too heavy for my liking), and I also don't know which type he will bring, but we'll see!

IP, FS-1, or Jim casalas. The balance of both is very good.

Use Hannum piccolos. They have the same density and feel of normal snare sticks, but they have the light airy sound that is perfect for indoor!

I found the perfect stick for me and I figured this would be the right forum to share my discovery! I bought four pairs of sticks with my christmas money. I got aungst, macs, fairbanks, and mdawgs. I am happy to say that the Mdawgs are absolutely the best sticks I have ever used. After I got the first amazing pair, I bought three more, and they were all amazing! Check them out if you haven't already done so!

Aungsts are where it's at. it you use them the "right" way, they are golden. (i say right in "" since there is more than 1 "right" way, it's just a certain "right" way) i got two good pairs, and they just have this nice bold sound. they feel beefy and rebound well.

I have no idea why, but I just love the Hardimon nylon tips... They seem to be the best for me. Maybe because they're so light?
