I'd have to say DC-50's, they just feel really good and give a nice beefy sound.

Why don't people like Hardimons?
I got a pair the other day and they feel awesome.

yeah, they're nice and all, but don't really stand out in any certain area... they're just a standard stick. i must say, i do like mine though!

I've only played with the Vic Firth sticks, so I just voted ralphs.
Although, I'm really hooked on the Dennis Delucia's right now

Ok, so I went out and bought and tried a whole bunch of sticks today.
My list:
IP Jim Casellas- Ok, but not a huge fan of them
IP Mike McIntosh- Love them
IP FS1- Love them, simple, but great feeling
Vic Thom Hannum- I like them, they have a very unique feel, but the pair I got are really light
Vic Ralph Hardimon- They feel good, I like the size, but way too light for my liking

The verdict, my opinion stands, Vic Firth MS1 and MS2 are probably my favorites. They're simple in design, yet they get the job done. They feel great and last a good while.

FS-JC - Takes a while to get used to, but a very reliable stick once you get to "know" it better.
FS-MM - Very solid... I don't like it as much as the FS-JC or the FS-PR, but it'll do in a pinch.
FS-1 - Never played it, can't comment
STH - Yeah, these are light by design. About as reliable as a thin stick can get (which isn't bad by any measure).
SRH - A bit too thick for my tastes, but another good, solid stick.

Other sticks:

FS-PR - My personal favorite. Tends a bit toward the light side of middle-weight. The bead shapes gives a nice full sound, and it's thickness is perfect for both wrist and finger control.
FS-PR2 - It's a good stick, but not the best. I prefer the FS-JC over this one, because while it's thicker, it's lighter. That throws me off too much.
FS-TF - Probably my least favorite of the IP sticks. Not because it's bad, but because the taper is too long for my taste. This, while giving it great rebound, makes it difficult to control in middle-high passages, and I'm scared it'll break with every shot.
SSJ - A good, solid, general stick. A good choice if there aren't FS-JC's, FS-MM's, or FS-PR's available.
SMG - Other's rave over this stick... I'm kind of "meh" on it. It's beefy, and it gives decent rebound, but it's just too...bland for me. I dunno. I prefer the SSJ, SRH, FS-MM, FS-JC, and FS-PR over it.

That's my personal take on a bunch of sticks.
