I think good pairs feel lighter then good pairs of vic. I dont really like them except for the FS-SG

IP makes good concert stuff.. but i think vic has a much better selection of Diffrent types of sticks to use.

i notice an obvious diffrence in feel when using Aungsts Vs. Hardimons Vs. Mcnutts, but i really dont see a diffrence in any of the IP marching sticks. only advantige to IP is that they're a little more durable. but overall Snare/Quad/Bass i feel the vic choices feel much better.
my posts Reflects my own personal views, and not the views of my affiliations. don't associate what i say with any of my affiliations, because i am speaking for myself. they are my views, and mine alone. my opinions are my own, not my affiliates. thanks

omg fs-jc all they way love they way they feel especially when using them on a set of tenors!!! they are really durable too!!! i have had my only and only pair for about a year (got them at a dci contest somewhere in tennessee) and they jsut now broke and only because my friend josh pulled them out of my backpack and played a darn para-diddle on the asphalt and the side of the tip broke off so i jsut finished ordering another pair!!

I like those drummers, I just hate buying sticks unless I can try out a couple pairs first.

Yes...

The hybrids are great. they feel and sound awesome plus they're pretty durable.

The scooters, to me, feel like crap. Those things destroyed our black maxes a couple years ago.

ScoJos are the best. I've tried promark, broke within the hour. Innovative has some nice concert mallets, but not so much marching sticks.

Either way, we're endorsed by Vic, so all we play is Vic. Even though I have secretly tried other sticks, Vic SSJ are the best out there.

Vic Vegas.
Produces better sound quality than those cheap mesquite wood promark sticks.

Augunst are some really cool and light sticks. I love them. Scooters are great. We use them for both indoor and outdoor (my high school).

Marimba mallets. Not all of them are too good, but some like the 240s are good. Their timpani mallets suck, same with concert snare bass sticks and vibe mallets.
