Sticks

I am really confused right now. What sticks do the snares in BD use? I am getting either the dc50s or dc17s. Does anyone have an exact answer and proof?

Both of those pairs of sticks are nearly identical either way, but I'm pretty sure they use the DC17's, simply because they have ScoJo's signature on them

You may have just gotten lucky with yours. My pair of dc17s are way heavier than my dc50s.

They're likely identical, but stick weights do vary. Having played both DC50s and DC17s, they feel about the same. Also, the "beef" doesn't come as much from the stick weight, but more from the bead type and the way you play it. If you have a nice solid stroke and keep your fingers on the stick as much as possible, I guarantee you can get plenty of beef out of most of the marching sticks out there. Happy drumming!
