The back cover says it all. Here is something that has been a long time in the works: a collection of exercises designed to take your understanding of rudimental drumming mechanics to the next level, with accompanying media to make practicing these exercises more fun.

Features:
–Chapter on technique that defines how to understand what you should get out of each exercise, to master your control of rebound, fulcrum, and wrist turn.
–32 exercises designed to expose weaknesses and inconsistencies in drumming fundamentals.
–Coil binding, so you can set it on a music stand and it will stay open to the same page.
–DVD with *.mp3 recordings to accompany each exercise across its noted tempo range (in 8 BPM increments) for four reps. Some exercises include additional recordings for different feels (e.g., fivelets in 4/4 vs. 16ths in 5/4).
–Standalone *.pdf files for each exercise to help you use this material in ensemble and private lesson environments.
