Snare drum carrier wont fit

Posted: Fri Jul 14, 2017 2:31 pm

So, I bought this pearl snare drum with a Randal may tubular carrier with a rectangular belly plate. I am 12 and I am 4 10". How would I modify my carrier to fit me? Or what carriers would fit me that are cheap.

try adjusting the belly plate (or whatever you call it, just the part that hits your abdomen), it can be done with just a drum key. That's really the only adjustment that can be made with randall mays. If you have the money for it, they also make randall may "petite" carriers for shorter players (they may not be pearl brand but it really doesn't matter at all) but they're not cheap

I already put the abdomen plate as high as it can go but I tilted the bars that rest on your shoulders back so it lifts the abdomen plate even more
