I would go with either the FSMM's, FSJC's, FSPR2's or FSTF's.
My personal favorites are the FSTF's.

What are those? I googled them but I found some stuff on fire safety and sniper patches.

ProMark Jeff Ausdemore marching sticks are my all-time favourite.

From Vic Firth, I like the Murray Gusseck, and from Innovative Percussion, I like the Jim Casella.

I've recently really enjoyed using the new John Mapes VF sticks. I know sometimes quality control is an issue, but the pair I have are really the only sticks I've been using for practicing auditioning now

My personal favorites are the ProMark DC50s. From VF I most like the Mike Jacksons and the Shane Gwaltneys from IP.

IP Mike McIntosh Arena Series.

- smaller diameter stick feels good to the hands
- round bead for fast rebound (at least that's how it feels to me)
- nice balance
- lighter than some models= more control with less effort
