WGI, DCI, or DCA?

Posted: Wed Dec 02, 2015 12:01 pm

I want to do a really good drumline but I'm not sure where to start. What would be a good idea to start with? I think DCA would be a good place to start but I feel I'm beyond most of my local DCA corp's playing level but I feel I got some time until I'm ready for DCI World Class or maybe even some Open Class corps. Anyone been on the ladder?

definitely go with DCA if you want to pursue this during school, and after try out for corps in your area you want to or think you can make, like I see you are from Erie PA, so Jersey Surf is a good option if you aren't confident you would make the cadets or bluecoats, no matter what you do march :)

So I'm assuming you made Thunderbirds after his question was asked? Congrats!

Yes, I made the T-Birds! I might do center snare this season if I can do the corps with my scheduling too.
