I'd hate to be that guy but like...

Blue Devils 2012 snare lick in feature
Phantom 2008 snare lick in feature
Bluecoats 2012 percussion feature near end of closer
RCC 2012 snare feature
Cavies 2008 snare feature
Bluecoats 2008 snare feature

I hate to suggest a bunch but I feel like these would all make really good videos. Maybe?

Any tips on getting measure 13 down? Geez, I can play the rest of this, no sweat. But I can't for the life of me get those two crushed eighths down! Argh. No matter what my hands try to do, my brain is sayin' "nuh-uh!"

Try taking it really slow without the buzzes first

Try playing a simple accent tap exercise, but play buzzes where the accents are. I had trouble with this lick too, so I just would play eights with regular taps on downbeats and buzzes on the upbeats. work up to tempo. surprisingly good chop builder as well.

I'm going to put my vote in for the Cavaliers 2008 snare break. That 15:16 is sick!

I got it down by practicing double strokes with a buzz on the second tap of each, just to get that motion and feel into your hands.

I'm that guy who says he'll try out for drum corps next year and never does.
But I'm totally gonna try to march Alliance this summer.
