I don't think anyone should believe anything unless it comes from Rick, the corps director. Yeah, if Cap folded entirely, it will probably be because the bingo program (which was pretty sweet, community really liked it) went down the tubes.

for people who have marched, how do they spread out the costs? is there some sort of monthly fee once you've made the cut? and if so about how much per month?

For VK, it was if paid in full by Feb, it would be 1900... but if you followed a plan, 400 a month by May. This was how it was for the 2010 season.

Pacific Crest is 2100, City Sound is 600. VK changed their fee this season to 1200, only because they are doing a California tour.

Crossmen this year is $2450 including various fees and spring training costs. That doesnt include the camps and registration fees though. Including those (assuming 7 camps, Nov - May and $100), it comes to about $3,215.

Most world class corps equal out to be just over $3000 if you include camp fees, tuition, and uniform/random fees. Some corps make it an all inclusive deal like at Teal for me in 09(2800) which recently dropped to 2500. Now at Spirit our "tuition" is 2100 but we have a 200 uniform fee, plus 95 dollars for each camp starting in november/december.
