500 for tuition is relatively cheap, isn't it?

yes, which is why i want to audition in a year. i can't this year. the total i think, once you factor in a uniform fee, food, and housing if you live more than an hour away, it's like 600-650, which is still very cheap.

Yep. I'm trying out for Colts/Colt Cadets next year if I get cut from Scouts. If I get cut from Colts world, I'm hoping they'll ask me to go to Colt Cadets. I dunno though. I kinda feel like my playing ability surpasses the level the organization is aimed towards (middle schoolers/high schoolers), but I suppose that I'm biased. I'll let the staff (who actually know what they're talking about, not like my idiot self :]) decide that.

for people who have marched, how do they spread out the costs? is there some sort of monthly fee once you've made the cut? and if so about how much per month?

You can pay however you want as long as you pay it all before tour starts.

Most corps will ask for a monthly installment which you pay at the camp. (Or mail in)

Trust me, it makes it seem much less expensive.

$2100 all together I think for Capital Regiment. Shouldn't go up or down if they come back for 2011.
