Where should I march?

I've been wanting to march drum corps for a while now, and I've finally decided to actually follow through with it. I would like to eventually try out for and hopefully march either Bluecoats or Cadets. As of right now, I don't think I'm ready for world class. Where would be a good place to start if I wanted to try marching one of these corps? I go to school in CT, during the summer I live in NJ. I would like to at least start somewhere relatively close, but any recommendations are appreciated. Also, I am more than open to both open class and/or DCA.

C2 or Fusion Core (DCA Weekends only)

Pioneer or Jersey Surf (DCI World Class)

Music City Drum Corps (DCI Open Class)

If you are looking to march DCI, but don't want to commute to CT. You could march Raiders. I marched Hurricanes last year and have nothing but good things to say about the people there. They are in the rebuilding process but they are a very good corps. Caballeros and Fusion core which are DCA are also very good corps with a great family atmosphere.
