My only issue with Revolution is the recent turmoil that happened with the corps and the fact that it cut down their tour schedule quite a bit. But, they would still be a great fit for someone who has never marched before and is looking for experience.

A great example of why this really can happen to anyone is Teal Sound...

Minnesota Brass is a big player. They're DCA but they'd beat up on most any Open Class and some lower World Class lines. They also field an Open Class WGI line.

Governaires is another DCA corps I know nothing of. Based on photos from their website, they appear to have fielded something like 25 total members in 2011.

River City Rhythm is from Champlin, Minnesota. I can't say I know anything about them since I just discovered them in the last 30 seconds.

Shadow Indoor Percussion from Oregon, Wisconsin.

St. Cloud All-City Drumline from St. Cloud, Minnesota.

RCR does some pretty cool stuff, I'd check them out if you're in the area. As a former member of Shadow indoor, I have nothing but great things to say about the program. Family vibe, incredible instructors with tons of knowledge and experience, got bumped to PIO this season and looking to keep building. Probably a bit of a hike for you though

So you "lowered your goals" from the cavaliers to the bluecoats, who have been beating the cavaliers all season. You may want to "lower your goals" a little further.

Minnesota brass indoor was a great line this year, clean as hell in dayton.

Nothing wrong with having high goals. Those were my goals in HS, crossmen cut me, and then I made a blue team. Hell my end all goal of drumming was to be in the blue knights bassline when I was in HS, cause Doug Bush was one of my favorite techs ever; my goal of teaching in the future is to emulate what he did because he was so fantastic, and he taught BKB. My goals ended up changing as I did a bit more band, but there's nothing wrong with starting out where you want to end up. I would encourage you to start out high, because nothing sucks more than when someone tries to use your corps as a stepping stone.
