Hey man, glad you're here.

Just a little advice, if you have a percussion instructor... or however you're getting your exercises... people like to make their own exercises to suit their drumline's needs, therefore, it is highly unlikely that anyone has that exercise.

You might want to check the exercise section on the actual snarescience page and see if any of them are similar to yours, as people like to give their own titles to universal exercises.

It's very unlikely that anyone has that music, unless it's a piece off of rowloff, drop6, arrpubco, whatever...

I transcribed it off another video of RCC a long time ago but it's not completely correct...Did Sapadin write it?

Oh and I saw those videos. I think I'm going to try to learn "The Goo" lol.

Wow, you must be really good at transcribing.

But if Pete Sapadin did write it, it probably isn't going to be easy to find a copy of it. Check out what he said about Jedi Knight to a guy who wanted it http://www.scottjohnsondrums.com/forum/ ... edi+knight

I apologize man... I've never seen this exercise before, and I want to give it a go now...

I don't think so.

Although what I meant was, unlike Grievous Groove or Electric Wheelchair where the authors openly sell it, Shake Hands with Beef (if it's written by Pete Sapadin) isn't just given to anyone who can fork out some cash.

little wrist, lotta fingers and a ton of practise!

do paradiddles and turn youre left hand over on the down beat of 2 and 4 .
i went to a cavalier camp and bret kuhn described it as driving a car with youre left hand

Or think of it like this rrl rrl rrl rrl . do the second and 4th left as cross overs.that will work on control, as far as fingers Turn youre palm and use youre fingers to bounce the stick,on the left hand. Thats what helped me.

If you're talking about that trick where you make you're left palm face down and go over your right hand, RCC doesn't do it in Shake Hands with Beef, at least in that video.

I would practice doing singles on just the left hand with the palm turned over. Once you get that down, then try adding in the right and crossing your left over your right making sure that you didn't change anything on your left.

Why don't you just learn it off of the video? It's not that hard to figure out, especially the beginning.

This is very true. Why don't you make it your personal goal to transcribe it though? If it's easy for someone else, that person wouldn't really gain anything out of transcribing it other than street rep (lol) but for someone who isn't that good at transcribing they would gain more experience. I suggest you listen more than you watch, however using your eyes is a big part to it as well.

I could post it, it'd be easier than sending out so many emails. It is a transcription, so it wouldn't be illegal. How do I post it?

www.imageshack.us is a good hosting site, just upload it there (it's free)

and then when you have it uploaded use the image url they give you (the smallest url, the one at the bottom) and then post the link here
