You got any mp3s to play along for both the first and second version? I might try and learn it...not sure though, seems a little out of my skill level.

How do you play/count measure 9, where it has the 3 over those flam taps notes. Do you start playing the flam taps on the "and" of a triplet. so like "2 and a"? does anyone get what i'm askin?

I'm not sure if I get your question or if this answers it but the flam taps and the eight note before it are all grouped in one triplet (not sure how to phrase that)

I believe I understand what you're asking. Here, I wrote out 1)the basic rhythm half as fast 2)the actual part half as fast and 3)the actual part

Image

To explain in words...The first four 32nd notes(in the actual bar obviously, not above) only take up one eighth note, therefore making the next note on the 'and' of 1. The tuplet is simply a triplet moved an eighth note over. Since a triplet takes up one full beat, it also ends one eighth note over, hence the next eighth note before beat 3. The rhythm within the triplet is still bi(gi)da bigida bah(the parentheses signifying a rest), it just doesn't start on the downbeat. Hopefully this clears up some confusion, however, if it does not, which I don't doubt at all, don't hesitate to ask me anything.
