Paradiddle Breakdown

Posted: Sun Jul 19, 2015 6:34 pm

Hey all! I'd like to get your thoughts on this paradiddle breakdown exercise. This is a version of the original exercise taught to me by a snare tech I had in high school(with his permission of course). We would commonly use this while tracking or doing box drill over and over.
Last week I taught a drumline in the Knoxville area and decided to type this up and hand it out. The tenor arounds and the bass splits were changed by me. :D

My drumline does this for a paradiddle exercise, maybe you should consider it.. your D & E are slightly confusing.

(16th notes in 4/4)

2 paradiddles, 2 paradiddlediddles, 2 paradiddles, 2 paradiddlediddles, 4 paradiddles, 4 paradiddlediddles.
