Can the logo be removed? Has anyone done this? Does it change the sound of the pad any?

It can be removed, although I'm not entirely sure how. Probably take a knife and gently get one end off, then just peel off the rest. If you have a laminate I'd recommend not doing it since that would look kinda bad, but if you have no laminate it can be removed without changing the sound of the pad.
