Practice pad / playing surface higher standard

I'm looking to build some standing practice pads for my line. When I played we would try to have all the snares appear to be the same hieght, so shorter people ended up playing with the drum higher and taller lower. This got me thinking, is there a standard or recommended hieght the surface of the drum should be from the ground?

The height of the drum should be whatever is comfortable for the player, since that is what allows them to play with the best technique and is how the drum will be set anyways if/when they're wearing a harness.

If all your players are roughly the same height, then maybe you could get away with setting them all to the same height if it's only small differences, but there's no industry standard height for drums, and it can actually be very bad for a learning player's technique to spend long amounts of time playing on a surface that's the wrong height
