Invader V3 Vinyl/Mylar Laminates

So i've been thinking of buying an Invader V3 with the laminate surface but I have a few questions. I've heard that the laminate cracks, so can you take off the laminate once it does? Is there darkmatter underneath it? And can you buy replacements for the laminate so that you can take off the cracked one and put a new laminate?

If you're careful, and don't let anyone else use your pad, the laminate will last, but you're better off buying the smaller laminates from Offworld separately if you haven't already purchased the pad.

I bought the small oval laminate and it finally split, so I peeled it off.
No problem peeling, so buy several and be prepared to peel.
