I'm not sure if this was the right place to ask but I wanted to know if anyone knew a good 4/4 tenors solo, with it being one measure long. Difficult eh?

The reason I ask is because our line has a cadence in which everyone has their one measure solo and I'm not sure what to do with my one measure :{{{

Any help? Ideas? Bleh? (I probably will be using the quints next year if not keep it to quads)

It's been like 6 months, I've never been much for writing my own when it comes to battery instruments.

We play around 120-130

Probably 110, it's all at the drum major's tempo but since this is our cadence she likes to test us haha

Fivelet scrapes. First 4 notes of the fivelet being the scrape, the the last note being a shot. First beat would be on drum 1, second beat on 2, etc.

Actually, that's the original written part but over the years it's become tradition to change the solo for each person.

That kinda was what I wanted to include! :D

I'm kind of varying, even though I've been playing tenors specifically for about 7 months my teacher says I'm better than some who play for 2-3 years. Probably cause I own my own set and have nothing better to do than practice. In my opinion I think I'm medium to advanced :I

That sounds pretty good, I'll give it a try

File comment: If it's too meaty remove the flams. You can remove the downbeat if you wish.
