Shake Hands With Beef bass part completed!!

Posted: Fri Oct 30, 2009 8:20 pm

After hours of work, I finished transcribing the bass part. (I hope)
Forgive the tempo, I was just basing it off of the video I transcribed it from.
I've decided that rather than to post it, whoever is interested in it can just email me instead.

What do you mean? Measure three is probably the simplest measure other than the last one.
I'll explain the counts, but this is what it sounds like. (0:15) In this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAxB9QqhKXE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Unison on 1
Rest on "e" of 1
Unison on "and" of 1
Unison on "ah" of 1

Unison on 2
Bass 2 on "and" of 2
Bass 2 on "ah" of 2

Unison on "e" of 3
Unison on "and" of 3
Unison on "ah" of 3

Bass 5 eighth note triplet through beat four.

lol. Thats what the second simplest part looks like written out.

If you are actually talking about measure 5, I wrote it the way I did so it would be easier to see what is actually going on. Bass 1 4's with unisons underneath.

You just barred the notes strangely, you need to make it clear where the beat is. And I do mean measure 3.

The only thing i could do then to help that is to split an eighth note into two sixteenths tied together. I've never seen it done that way, but if you REALLY want me to a could fix that.

If it is in fact incorrect (likely), do you think you could send me the score, or tell me what parts are incorrect?

Measure three as I would have it. It would also be a little easier to discern if all those 4's were beamed together by beat. Use the secondary beam break tool to leave only the top beam and break the 16th and 32nd note beams.

I didn't put it up on purpose because since its it is a transcription, it took hours of work.
You are getting the privilege of having to do almost no work to acquire it, so I believe that you should AT LEAST need to ask before getting it.
